Lavie Maison - Hot tub & AC, Heart of Saint-Merri

Positive: • Excellent location in the very heart of Paris. • The Louvre and Notre-Dame are within easy walking distance. • Many shops, restaurants, bars and public transport stops nearby. • Beautiful, stylish and modern apartment. • Everything looks new, clean and well maintained. • Very convenient location for exploring Paris on foot or by public transport. Negative: • Very poor sound insulation. The apartment is extremely noisy at night. We could hear ambulances and police sirens, rubbish collection vehicles, traffic, nearby bars and people shouting in the street. Unfortunately, we struggled to sleep during all three nights. • The beds are quite small (around 1.60 m wide), which can be uncomfortable for two adults, especially for larger families. • Check-out at 10:00 is quite early compared with many hotels and apartments. • Unfortunately, there is no secure luggage storage available after check-out. Overall, we really liked the apartment, especially the design and location. However, future guests should be aware of the nighttime noise, bed size and early check-out.
